Healthiest Weight Florida
FDOH launched the Healthiest Weight Florida initiative in early 2013. Healthiest Weight Florida brings together state agencies, not for profit organizations, businesses, and entire communities to help Florida’s children and adults make consistent, informed choices about healthy eating and active living. In Baker County, Health Educators teach classes, attend health events, and design and distribute materials to improve health outcomes in the community. We also form community partnerships and seek to create policy and environmental changes throughout the county that will benefit the health of our residents.
